This book is my favorite Valentine's Day picture book. It's a book with a very powerful message about the importance of love and kindness in our lives. It leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling and an understanding of how good it is to feel loved and how important it is make others feel loved. My students really enjoyed listening to this story today. We had some great discussions about love and kindness towards others in everyday life.

Next year, you can also show the kids this book digitally, read aloud by a celebrity on www.storylineonline.net! Don't know if you know about the site, but it's a favorite part of our birthday celebrations in my room :)
