Christmas Questionnaire!

HOT CHOCOLATE or EGGNOG?

I love hot chocolate and will sometimes put in a little peppermint schnapps!

DOES SANTA WRAP PRESENTS OR JUST SIT THEM UNDERNEATH THE TREE?

Santa wraps presents. I have to wrap them...gift bags gets me lots of flack since the family seems to want the joy of ripping paper on Christmas morning.

COLORED LIGHTS OR WHITE?

White lights on the tree, but colored lights on the outside of the house.

WHEN DO YOU DECORATE?

Usually the first weekend in December. It really depends on the year and how stressful life is. I was all done the first weekend of December this year, but some years I don't finish until I'm on break.

REAL OR FAKE TREE?

Fake. I'd love to do a real tree, but I'd be sick for the entire holiday because of severe allergies. I don't think the family wants to deal with asthma attacks, so we've learned to live with a fake tree. That being said, you can buy some amazing fake trees that look real. I love our tree.

WHAT TOPS YOUR TREE?

An angel my grandmother gave me 28 years ago. It's made of paper and ceramic and is absolutely beautiful. Grandma has been gone for several years. I love that angel and will probably never get another tree topper.

FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MEMORIES OR TRADITIONS?
Just getting together with family and playing games on Christmas day.

DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FAVORITE GIFT AS A CHILD?

I was given a doll house when I was about six. I loved that doll house and played with it for hours at a time.

DO YOU PREFER GIVING OR RECEIVING?

Giving although finding the right Christmas present stresses me out at times. We try to keep Christmas kind of small, so I really try to find something special.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SONG?

I love anything by Mannheim Steamroller and loved seeing them in concert.

CANDY CANES. YUCK OR YUM?

  I love peppermint, but usually don't eat candy canes. I prefer the flavor in my drinks this time of year.

FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE?

A Charlie Brown Christmas

DO YOU SHOP ONLINE OR IN STORES?

Online...hate crowds!

PHOTO CARDS, LETTERS OR STORE BOUGHT?

I do photo cards when I send out cards. A few years life has just been too stressful and I didn't bother with cards, but I usually try to send some out. I really enjoy getting cards and reading notes from friends and family.
